Volodymyr Zelensky, during his visit to the United States, urged Washington to transfer longer-range ATACMS missiles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
About it writes the newspaper Politico with reference to sources.
According to the publication, Zelensky decided to raise the issue of transfer of missiles during a conversation with the speaker of the US House of Representatives Mike Johnson.
“Zelensky raised the issue of the need for deliveries from the US side of the ATACMS version with a longer range,” the publication says.
Earlier, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson noted that the Russian Armed Forces can cope with ATACMS missiles just as well as with HIMARS missiles and Storm Shadow cruise missiles.
