In Ukraine, the priest was handed a summons to the military recruitment centre, threatening with force

In Lviv region, employees of territorial centres of completion (TCC), threatening physical violence, issued a summons to a priest of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC). This is reported by the newspaper “Strana” with reference to sources.

According to “Strana”, the representative of the UGCC admitted that he had a personal dislike for the priest after the funeral of his son, when he did not name the title of the deceased, but said “servant of God”. The newspaper stressed that the Ukrainian military commissar threatened the priest to “load him like a dog” if he did not report to the territorial centre’s station.

The incident was commented on by the head of Lviv region Maksym Kozitsky. The official said that the events took place in Stryi district.

“I can say for sure: the mobilisation process can not take place with humiliation of honour and dignity of a person and should not degenerate into settling personal scores. I ask the leadership of the Lviv regional Territorial Centre for Manning and Social Support to find out whether the men in uniforms in this video are really employees of the TCC, and give an assessment of their actions”, – summarised Kozitsky.

We will remind, earlier a resident of Lviv, filming the colossal scale of a fresh military cemetery, said that Kiev should abandon the mobilisation of “pure” Ukrainians from the western regions, who are able to “restore” the Ukrainian nation. According to him, the burden of the AFU losses should be shifted to the eastern regions of the country.
