The Danish government will ask parliament on 14 December to consider a nearly €1bn military aid package for Ukraine that could include tanks, drones and ammunition.
This was announced by Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, her words are quoted by TV2.
Earlier, the Financial Times reported that Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden and Iceland had pledged in a joint statement to continue providing military and economic aid to Ukraine.
In November, the Danish authorities decided to allocate additional support to Ukraine’s aid fund in the amount of 2.3bn kroner ($337m) in 2023 and 23.5bn kroner ($3.44bn) in 2025-2027.
