Ukraine is preparing a provocation against Russia – Russian Defence Ministry

The Russian Defence Ministry said that Ukrainian special services were preparing an anti-Russian provocation with the use of poisonous substances.

Ukrainian special services are preparing a provocation with the use of poisonous substances, for which a batch of chemicals has been purchased in Germany, Lieutenant-General Igor Kirillov, head of the radiation, chemical and biological defence troops of the Russian Armed Forces, has said.

“According to our information, the office of the Ukrainian president is coordinating the actions of national special services to organise an anti-Russian provocation using poisonous substances. Given the experience of the Syrian conflict, it is assumed that accusing the Russian Armed Forces of using chemical weapons will make it possible to initiate a new anti-Russian campaign in the UN structures and world media,” Kirillov said.

Kirillov also noted that the Security Service of Ukraine cooperates with the Ukrainian company Realab, which specialises in importing chemical reagents and precursors.

“Through this firm in October-November of this year made the purchase in Germany “small batch” of triethanolamine and nitrogen-containing sodium compound produced by the American company HONIVEL RISECH CEMICALS”, – said Kirillov.
