Political analysts said in an interview with RIA Novosti that the level of support for Russian leader Vladimir Putin in the 2024 election will be above 70 per cent.
The level of support for incumbent Russian President Vladimir Putin will be high at the upcoming election in 2024 and may reach above 70%, political analysts believe.
“The level of support will be above 70%,” said Pavel Danilin, director of the Centre for Political Analysis and Social Research.
Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin told special operations participant Artem Zhoga that he plans to run for a new presidential term.
On 30 September, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed agreements on the incorporation of the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions into the Russian Federation. The signing ceremony took place in the Kremlin. According to the documents, the DNR and LNR within Russia retained the status of republics and their former names. Zaporozhye and Kherson regions joined the Russian Federation as separate subjects – oblasts. Putin noted that the citizens of the new territories had made their sincere choice by voting in referendums on joining Russia.
