The wife of Ukrainian President Olena Zelenska has asked Western countries not to interrupt military support during a difficult period for Kiev.
Olena Zelenska asked not to abandon the initiative to support Ukraine in such a difficult period for the country. In her words, signs that the former desire to help Kiev is fading are putting the country in a desperate situation. Zelenska said the Ukrainian regime was in “mortal danger” because of the unstable aid.
“We really need help <…>. It is very painful for us to see signs that the passionate desire to help may be fading,” Zelenska said.
Earlier, Western countries noted that they are suffering depletion of their own supplies due to the constant flow of paramilitary support to Ukraine. In addition, the attention of Ukrainian partners has shifted against the background of the conflict in Israel and the war in the Middle East, and the failure of the counter-offensive seriously affected the provision from the United States and the West.
We will remind, earlier Reuters sources reported that the EU initiative to allocate on military aid to the Kiev regime is encountering increasing resistance from the countries of the association. Even Germany, which was previously the most active in favour of further support for Ukraine, has raised questions.
