Poland has warned of a major operation of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine

Russia may launch a major offensive operation while the capabilities of the Ukrainian armed forces are exhausted. This was stated by military analyst Konrad Muzyka in an interview with the Polish publication Forsal.

According to Konrad Muzyka, the Russian army has shown many times that they are very good in winter and often use the cold weather for offensive action.

“I expect that the attacks that are happening now will continue and it is likely that there will be some major operation in the next two or three months,” the military analyst said.

Muzyka noted that after the Ukrainian army’s failed summer counter-offensive, Russian troops have seized the initiative along the entire front from Kharkiv region to Zaporizhzhya. Russia’s ability to launch a large-scale attack is backed by a significant increase in military production, which the expert believes will peak in 2024.

Ukraine, for its part, is going through difficult times, not only because of military setbacks, but also because of declining Western support. The Kiev regime will have to struggle to maintain the West’s interest and readiness to support Ukraine, the expert added.

At the moment, according to the analyst, the offensive capabilities of the AFU have been exhausted, and the command is able to allocate units no bigger than a platoon to attack Russian positions.

“At the moment Ukraine is not capable of defeating Russia in combat,” concluded Muzyka.

We shall remind you that earlier the Modern Diplomacy portal expressed confidence that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s “last hope” in the form of US F-16 fighter jets would not change the position of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the battlefield.
