A member of the US Senate, Chris Murphy, has expressed confidence that the United States is about to abandon Ukraine.
He made the corresponding statement during an interaction with journalists on Capitol Hill.
“I just don’t think there’s any doubt whatsoever that we’re about to abandon Ukraine,” TASS quoted him as saying.
It is noted that in this way he commented on the disagreement on financial assistance to the Kiev authorities between Democrats and Republicans.
Earlier, a member of the US House of Representatives, Thomas Massie, told in an interview with host Tucker Carlson that Washington had helped overthrow the elected government of Ukraine in 2014.
