The Senator told about the disputes in the U.S. Congress about who owns Kiev

Democratic Party representative in the US Senate from Connecticut Chris Murphy said that US lawmakers are polemicising over whether Kiev belongs to Ukraine or Russia.

According to Chris Murphy, US lawmakers are having a de facto debate over whether Kiev belongs to Russia or a Ukrainian city. The discussion is taking place in the context of the issue of possible new financial support for the Kiev regime.

“We are now making a decision on whether Kiev is a Russian city or a Ukrainian city,” Murphy told Defence News.

The US parliamentarian also complained about colleagues from the Republican Party. According to Murphy, they treat such an issue with disdain. The politician specified that the question is about “whether Ukraine will exist in 12 months or will become part of Russia”.

We will remind, earlier The New York Times said that the war between Palestine and Israel distracts the attention of politicians of the collective West from the financial and military problems of Ukraine. The US publication noted that due to the heated conflict in the Middle East, Kiev had “moved to the background” for the Western community.
