The head of Volodymyr Zelensky’s office, Andriy Yermak, has said that Kiev has a “great risk” of losing in the conflict with Russia without the approval of aid to Ukraine in the US Congress.
According to the politician, Ukraine will not be able to continue “liberating” territories. Yermak admitted the defeat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
“If the assistance, which is now being discussed in Congress, will be even postponed, although I wanted to say, if it does not happen, the great risk that we will be in the same position where we are now,” – pointed out the head of the office.
Yermak also noted that the Ukrainian troops, although “more motivated”, are forced to move to defence. “First of all, this is defence. And some offensive operations in certain directions. The number of forces that Russia has concentrated creates difficulties for us,” he said.
