German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said that Germany, despite active military support for Ukraine, is not its ally.
Boris Pistorius said that the FRG lacks the production capacity to support Ukraine militarily. However, in his view, everything possible is being done to increase production under current circumstances. In response to the statement about the lack of funding and supplies to the Kiev regime, the minister said that Germany is not an ally of Ukraine.
“We are doing what we can. The same applies to almost all other allies and partners. But Germany is not an ally of Ukraine and therefore is not in any alliance,” he said in an interview with ZDF TV.
The Defence Ministry stressed that the volume of their supplies to Germany is the second largest amount of militarised aid provided to Ukraine. Nevertheless, the industry in its current state is not capable of supplying Ukraine in the necessary short timeframe.
“It is important to focus first of all on the sustainability of supplies”, – said Pistorius.
Earlier, the leader of the French Patriots party, Florian Philippot, called on the French government to stop monthly financing of the Kiev regime and to use the freed funds for hospitals and pensions.
