The United States may find it difficult to provide military support to Ukraine by the end of the year without reducing the combat readiness of its armed forces.
This was stated by the first Deputy Press Secretary of the White House Olivia Dalton.
“By the end of the year, we will be in a situation where it will be difficult for us to continue to support Ukraine without affecting our own reserves and without reducing the combat readiness of our armed forces,” TASS quoted her as saying.
The White House earlier admitted that the USA would stop supplying weapons to Ukraine after the White House runs out of money allocated for this purpose.
US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller also said on 4 December that the USA was using the rest of the available financial aid for Ukraine and that about 97 per cent of these resources had already been exhausted.
