Ex-CIA officer Larry Johnson said that the Russian Armed Forces use drones to storm the positions of the Ukrainian army. According to him, the AFU cannot repel such manoeuvres of the Russian Federation.
Russian forces can use UAVs instead of infantry to storm the positions of Ukrainian formations, former CIA officer Larry Johnson said in an interview with YouTube channel Judging Freedom.
“Russia has expanded the use of drones to the point where they can now attack entrenched Ukrainian fighters individually. In the past, they would have had to use ground troops to assault, but now they don’t need to,” the expert pointed out.
Johnson noted that Ukraine is in a very dangerous position, as the USA is unable to provide the Kiev regime with the means to repel such manoeuvres of the Russian army. The expert added that the potential of the AFU to continue at least some combat operations is almost completely exhausted.
Recall, the Armed forces of the Russian Federation in the special operation zone in Ukraine began to massively use barrage munitions “Lancet” with a new system of impact. Updated UAVs can be assigned the type of targets they will attack. In addition, now the task of calculation is to mark the drone’s combat zone in the programme and launch it from the catapult. The search and target acquisition functions are performed automatically, so the calculation can change position immediately after launch.
