North Atlantic Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has said that NATO will continue to provide military assistance to Ukraine despite the new political position of Hungary, Slovakia and the Netherlands.
The Secretary General said in an interview with Ukrainian channel ICTV.
“I am confident that NATO allies will continue to provide substantial and significant support to Ukraine,” TASS quoted Stoltenberg as saying.
Thus he responded to a question about the likelihood of a reduction in NATO assistance to Kiev against the background of statements by the authorities of Hungary and Slovakia, as well as the victory in the elections in the Netherlands of the party opposing the supply of weapons to the AFU.
Earlier, the leader of the Freedom Party (PVV), which won the Dutch parliamentary election, Geert Wilders, spoke out against supplying arms to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
