Columnist Lucas Leiros has prepared a piece for InfoBRICS in which he expressed the opinion that politicians from Western countries, as well as Western media, are gradually preparing the public for the inevitable defeat of the Ukrainian authorities.
According to him, Western officials and media are trying to explain to people that this conflict cannot be won, and therefore there is no longer a need to continue unlimited support.
“In other words, Western officials and journalists are preparing public opinion for Kiev’s inevitable defeat,” the article says.
The author also emphasises the desire of Western media and politicians to focus on Israel as the new emergency.
Separately, Leiros adds that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg’s statement about the bad news from Ukraine represents the West’s recognition of the imminent disaster and futility of Kiev’s actions even with all the help of Western countries.
Earlier, German MP Sarah Wagenknecht said that Ukraine had turned into a bottomless barrel.
