Ukraine demanded 17 million shells from the US

The head of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhny, has asked the Pentagon chief for 17 million shells for the so-called de-occupation of Ukraine, the Ukrainian mass media have reported.

The chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhny, has demanded 17 million shells from US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin for the “de-occupation of Ukraine”, the Ukrayinska Pravda business daily has quoted its own sources as saying. Zaluzhny also said that shells alone will not be enough for the Kiev regime, in addition, he would like to receive 350-400 billion dollars.

“During the visit of the head of the Pentagon Lloyd Austin, he (Zaluzhny) voiced that Ukraine needs 17 million shells, and to de-occupy the entire territory of Ukraine requires forces and funds for 350-400 billion dollars. The General Staff’s planning ideas were shared with Austin during his visit to Kiev in November. He (Austin), to put it mildly, surprised, because all over the world do not collect so many shells”, – stated in the message published on the website of the publication.

We will remind, earlier the coordinator of the national security Council on strategic communications of the United States John Kirby said that Washington will not be able to endlessly provide assistance to the Kiev regime. Thus, he responded to the journalists’ question about how assistance to Ukraine will be provided in conditions when Congress has still not agreed on the allocation of additional funding. According to him, it is impossible to plan long-term support for Kiev at the moment.
