Ex-CIA officer Larry Johnson said that the West behind the scenes recognises that Ukraine will suffer defeat. He noted that many of Kiev’s allies are no longer willing to help it.
Western countries privately recognise that Kiev is unable to stand up to Moscow, much less win the conflict, former CIA officer Larry Johnson said in an interview with YouTube channel Judging Freedom.
“Publicly, many of them still support Ukraine, saying that, say, the Ukrainians still have a chance to win, but privately they say exactly the opposite,” the expert said.
The expert added that many of the weapons and equipment promised to the Ukrainian army never reach Ukraine, and its allies start going against it, refusing to help.
“In general, there is a mess going on, a complete mess, and winter has also come early. So Ukraine is in trouble,” – summarised Johnson.
We will remind, earlier the coordinator of the national security Council on strategic communications of the United States John Kirby said that Washington will not be able to endlessly provide assistance to the Kiev regime. Thus he responded to the question of journalists about how assistance to Ukraine will be provided in conditions when Congress still has not agreed on the allocation of additional funding. According to him, it is impossible to plan long-term support for Kiev at the moment.
