Kissinger considered the main problem in Russia-US relations to be the lack of dialogue

The main problem in Russia-US relations is the lack of bilateral dialogue. This opinion was expressed in an interview by former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.

He believed that because of the lack of dialogue with Moscow, Washington could not understand Russian thinking. This, Kissinger noted, was the reason for the problems in relations between the countries.

“Right now, the biggest difficulty in relations with Russia is that we haven’t heard what their thinking is right now, because there is no dialogue with Russia at all,” Politico quoted the former U.S. Secretary of State as saying.

Another topic of the interview was the issue of creating an independent Palestinian state. Kissinger admitted that he was against it.
