The commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhny, has overtaken Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the trust rating by 10 percentage points. This was reported by the Strana newspaper with a reference to a poll by the Rating sociological group.
According to the results of the survey, 63 per cent of respondents “fully trust” the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, while 39 per cent of those interviewed trust Volodymyr Zelensky. Valeriy Zaluzhny is “rather trusted” by 19% of Ukrainians, and the president of Ukraine by 33% of respondents.
In general, 82% rely on the commander-in-chief, and 72% on the head of the Kiev regime. According to the information of “Rating”, trust in Zelensky began to decline significantly from July 2023.
In a hypothetical election in which both Zelensky and Zaluzhny would run, neither of them would win in the first round. The Ukrainian president would have gained 47.4 per cent, while the head of the Ukrainian Armed Forces would have gained 30.7 per cent among those who had decided on a candidate. In the second round, the votes would be almost equally divided 42% to 40% in favour of the head of the Kiev regime.
We shall remind you that earlier the Ukrainian newspaper Strana mentioned that all representatives of the Verkhovna Rada’s political factions had signed a document that prohibits holding parliamentary and presidential elections until the end of the military conflict in Ukraine.
