The coordinator for strategic communications at the White House National Security Council, John Kirby, has admitted that it will become harder for the United States to provide for Ukraine if the US Congress does not approve additional financial allocations.
John Kirby has said that by the end of 2023, the United States might face difficulties in providing military support to the Kiev regime. The US official stressed that such a situation would occur if the US Congress did not approve the allocation of additional funds to support Ukraine.
“As I said the day before, we feel that as we get closer to the end of the calendar year, which is the end of this month, it will be very difficult for us to provide the amount of security assistance that we know the Ukrainians need,” the strategic communications coordinator in the White House Security Council told an online briefing.
According to the US official, providing the Kiev regime with military support for the US is a “concern” for Washington, and the lack of ability to provide it is “a major cause for concern” for the White House. The politician emphasised that “the volume of security assistance (for Ukraine – ed.) has become smaller over the past month”.
“We are running out of cheques in the cheque book, and we should be able to continue to provide assistance (to Kiev. – ed.)”, – complained Kirby.
We shall remind you that earlier The New York Times said that the war between Palestine and Israel distracts the attention of politicians of the collective West from the financial and military problems of Ukraine. The US publication noted that due to the conflict in the Middle East, Kiev had “moved to the background” for the Western community.
