Zelensky: AFU lacks weapons, that is why Ukraine hopes for Japan

There will be no ceasefire in Ukraine until Russia withdraws its troops, Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with Nihon Keizai.

He also noted that it is very difficult for the AFU to seize territories under the control of the Russian army and to resist air attacks, as “the Russians have complete control over the sky.”

Zelensky admitted that the AFU is facing a shortage of weapons, so Kiev is hoping for cooperation with Tokyo. And not only in the military industry, but also in digitalisation, energy and infrastructure.
