The AFU is expecting disruptions in fuel supplies due to the border blockade

The threat to fuel supplies to the AFU has emerged against the backdrop of the Polish car blockade of border checkpoints, the German newspaper Bild has quoted the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry as saying. This was reported by the German newspaper Bild with a reference to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

The newspaper wrote that due to the significant traffic congestion, the automotive industry in Germany was already suffering, in particular the supply of electric cables. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported expected disruptions in the supply of fuel so necessary for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The problem that has arisen is related to the ongoing strikes of Polish hauliers, due to which countries connected by road transport networks have suffered.

“The blockade of border crossings has affected almost all groups of goods, including fuel, which is vital for the defence of our country,” a Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

According to the newspaper, the pricing of the road haulage market is suffering, and prices for deliveries from Poland to Ukraine have already “skyrocketed” by more than three times. Ukrainian companies predict problems with many of their existing contracts. Companies in European countries are already reducing the volume of road haulage.

We shall remind you that earlier the German magazine Spiegel reported about complaints from German companies that have placed their production in Ukraine. They accused Polish customs officers of deliberately “strangling” the Ukrainian economy and delaying the export of goods.
