Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said that two sides should be involved to resolve the Ukrainian conflict and the Collective West is showing a solo performance.
In Sergey Lavrov’s opinion, a political settlement of the Ukrainian issue requires two sides, as in the South American dance – the tango. However, the diplomat emphasised that the Collective West had chosen the path of solo performance.
At a press conference on the results of the meeting of the OSCE foreign ministers, the Russian civil servant commented on the possibility of resolving the Ukrainian issue. The diplomat noted that the Russian Federation does not observe, both from the Kiev regime and from the Collective West aspirations for a political settlement of the conflict.
“In order to start a political process, you need two people, just like in the tango, but the guys on the other side are not dancing the tango, but breakdancing. You have to solo there,” Lavrov snarkily said.
Earlier, the former commander of the Polish Ground Forces, General Waldemar Skrzypczak, mentioned that the failure of the Ukrainian counter-offensive and the start of an offensive operation by the Russian Armed Forces should bring Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to his senses.
