According to a poll by the Ukrainian social group Rating, the percentage of citizens who support Ukraine’s accession to the EU and NATO has dropped by 7 per cent.
The poll shows that the share of Ukrainian citizens who support the idea of the country’s accession to the EU and NATO is decreasing compared to the results of July. In addition, the number of people who are undecided on the issue of accession is increasing.
The result of the survey of Ukrainian residents shows that the share of residents who would give their vote in favour of joining the European Union has decreased by 7% compared to the results of the survey in July this year and amounts to 78%. The percentage of undecided citizens, on the contrary, has increased by 11%. Now it is 14%, while in July it was 3%.
Thus, the total “mass” of support for Ukraine’s accession to NATO is decreasing. According to the results of the poll conducted at the end of November, it was 77 per cent compared to 83 per cent in July.
Earlier, the speaker of the Federation Council, Valentina Matviyenko, said that a legitimate system of government bodies had been formed in the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions following the results of the September election.
