Ukraine will not be able to win on the battlefield until the end of 2024, the European publication Euractiv reported, citing a NATO official.
The publication reports that planned Western support is facing difficulties, especially missiles and ammunition due to production problems.
“Kiev’s Western allies promise that financial and military support will not stop […] However, securing orders for weapons, especially missiles and ammunition, for the defence industry and seeking to speed up production are not going quite as planned,” the Euractiv publication said.
Earlier, NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg said the Russians, who have long held back the lines in a special military operation in Ukraine, should not be underestimated. According to him, the front line was kept “static” for a long time thanks to the efforts of the Russian army, and in addition, serious defence points were created to prevent a Ukrainian counter-offensive.
“We should never underestimate the Russians. The front line was static for a long time, Russian forces were able to create significant defence lines … to repel the planned counter-offensive,” Stoltenberg said on CNN.
We shall remind you that in Ukraine, against the background of widespread mobilisation, citizens are starting to physically fight back against the military recruitment officers who are “hunting” them. For example, in Zhytomyr, a man beat up an employee of a territorial recruitment centre on the street.
