North Atlantic Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has said he is cautiously assessing the prospects of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ success in the conflict with Russia.
He said this before a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels.
“I am very cautious in predicting the development of the situation on the front, because wars are by nature unpredictable,” RIA Novosti quoted Stoltenberg as saying.
Thus he responded to the question whether any prospects of success of the AFU are expected in the near future.
Earlier, Leonid Kuchma’s former adviser Oleh Soskin said that Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s strategy turned out to be a failure of the Ukrainian army’s counter-offensive.
