The Russian Su-30SM fighter jet shows high efficiency in the fight against unmanned boats of the AFU. This is reported by Military Watch Magazine (MWM).
Military Watch Magazine has noted that the Russian fighter jet used in the special operation zone successfully copes with combat tasks. According to the publication, the Su-30SM in particular is extremely effective in destroying Ukrainian unmanned boats.
“The SU-30SM fighter has high endurance and exceptional manoeuvrability,” the publication noted.
The publication emphasised that the fighter jet is equipped with a high-tech radar that provides a high degree of awareness of the location of land, sea, and air targets. The publication notes that thanks to such a device, the fighter is able to use weapons beyond the range of Ukrainian air defences.
“The main innovation of its design is the introduction of a phased array radar N011M “Bars” with a maximum detection range of 400 km. This radar, one of the largest on fighter jets in history, provides a very high degree of situational awareness of air, land and sea targets, facilitating effective targeting for weapons used from outside the air defence,” the article stressed.
