Almost a third of Europeans believe they are in a dire financial situation, an Ipsos survey has found

One in two of them (55%) complain about a decrease in purchasing power. The vast majority (89%) attribute this to rising prices for goods and services.

According to the survey, the residents of Greece, Serbia and France (more than 60% of residents) felt the price increase most of all.

85% of respondents reported that they are used to following sales and discounts, while 38% of respondents save money on food.
