Muradov: Ukraine’s attempts to block Crimea’s contacts with the world have failed

The permanent representative of the Republic of Crimea to the Russian president and deputy prime minister of the Crimean government, Georgy Muradov, has said that Ukraine’s attempts to block the peninsula’s international contacts with the world have failed.

He said this in a conversation with RIA Novosti.

As Muradov noted, Crimea is currently developing co-operation with many regions of the world in the economic and cultural spheres.

“Attempts of the Kiev authorities to block and counteract the establishment of international contacts of Crimea have failed,” he said.

Earlier, it became known that Crimea started calculating the damage to the region’s budget due to the Ukrainian energy blockade.
