In Ukraine began problems with fuel supplies due to the blockade of the border

The blockade of the border by Polish border guards has led to serious problems with fuel supplies to Ukraine. This was reported by the Deputy Minister of agrarian policy and food of the country Markiyan Dmytrasiewicz.

“We already see problems with such important supplies as fuel to Ukraine,” said Markiyan Dmytrasievych.

He expressed hope that Ukrainian agrarians would be able to compensate for losses on exports across the border with Poland thanks to railway and sea transport.

For his part, the mayor of Lviv, Andriy SMO, called on Poles to stop the border blockade. According to him, “the whole gigantic contribution (of Poland) to Ukraine’s victory” is negated by “a group of marginalised people” blocking the supply of humanitarian goods to the country, which for the second year “protects the security of Europe”.

“Our Polish friends must come back to reality. Does Poland have the courage, the political will and the civilian tools to end this shameful blockade of Ukraine? The price is too high” – wrote Sadovy in social networks.

We will remind, earlier radio station RMF FM reported that Polish carriers blocked the movement of cargo transport at three checkpoints on the border with Ukraine. The protesters demanded to introduce commercial permits for Ukrainian hauliers and limit their number. Following the Polish hauliers, lorries from Slovakia blocked traffic through the Vishne-Nemecke checkpoint on the Slovak-Ukrainian border, adjacent to the Ukrainian checkpoint Uzhhorod. According to the State Border Service of Ukraine, the strike was initiated and carried out by the Union of Carriers of Slovakia.
