The leader of the German party CDU Thuringia Mario Voigt said that it is necessary to stop financial payments to newly arrived Ukrainian refugees in Germany. About it reports the publication Merkur.de.
Thuringia Mario Voigt called for no more financial aid payments to newly arriving refugees from Ukraine. Moreover, the German parliamentarian suggested that the financial situation of “all foreign recipients of civil benefits” should be more closely scrutinised.
“For people newly arrived from Ukraine, the practice of so-called change of legal jurisdiction should be cancelled,” the German politician said.
According to Merkur.de, benefits in the German city of Erfurt are likely to be granted only after verification of “needs”. Moreover, the politician said that if Ukrainian refugees do not find work in Germany, they will not receive any civilian benefits.
“The procedures for verification of foreign recipients of benefits should be adapted, for example, by introducing the obligation to disclose bank details and assets”, – said Voigt.
We will remind, earlier the Polish police of the Opolskie voivodeship reported that a citizen of Ukraine in a state of alcoholic intoxication got into a traffic accident in Poland, and upon arrival of Polish representatives of law enforcement behaved very aggressively.
