Germany has called for the resignation of the government

Germany’s right-wing Alternative for Germany (AdG) party said early parliamentary elections should be held and called for the resignation of the current German government.

The Alternative for Germany stated that early parliamentary elections should be held. Moreover, representatives of the right-wing German party called for the resignation of the current German government.

The reason for such a negative reaction was the results of a survey by the Forsa Institute for Public Opinion Research, conducted for the N-tv channel. According to the survey, 66 per cent of respondents said that the current German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is not capable of resolving the crisis situation in the country. Moreover, only 24% of those interviewed are confident that the politician is able to solve pressing problems. Also 69% of Germans emphasised that the German government does not take any action to solve the difficult situation in the sphere of the state budget.

“Two-thirds of Germans believe that Scholz is failing. This applies not only to Scholz, but to the entire traffic light government (colloquial name for the ruling coalition – ed.). This can have only one consequence: resignation and immediate early elections!”, the AdG said in a post on the social network “X” (formerly Twitter).

We will remind, earlier the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin criticised the attempts of the European Union countries to completely abandon Russian energy carriers, while the entire Western economy is at “zero mark”.
