Britain has revealed a serious threat to the AFU from the Russian army

Business Insider reported Russian Ka-52 helicopters have become a headache for the AFU, despite new deliveries of Western equipment.

The Russian Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopter poses a serious threat to Ukrainian formations in the special operation zone, the US portal Business Insider has reported.

“Russian Ka-52 helicopters have become a headache for Ukrainian troops during the summer counter-offensive in southern Ukraine. In June, the UK Ministry of Defence said Moscow had bolstered its attack helicopter force, and the following month said the helicopters had become one of the most influential weapons in the region,” the article said.

The West had hoped that the ATACMS SAMs handed over to Kiev would help force Russian commanders to pull back operational bases and vulnerable military installations from the front line. Despite the fact that the AFU continues to receive new weapons from Western partners, Russian helicopters still pose a serious threat.

Recall, earlier Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said that Western equipment proved to be flawed in combat against the Russian Armed Forces. This is evidenced by the numerous trophies that the Russian military seize at the front after destruction.
