Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has expressed confidence that Western countries will erase from Ukraine’s history everything that happened before 2022.
The diplomat expressed this opinion on Sputnik radio.
As Zakharova noted, the Western world refuses to see the date – a decade since the beginning of the “Maidan”.
“They don’t see it. It is not there. And why not? Because they will now count the situation around Ukraine exclusively from 2022,” RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.
As Zakharova explained, Ukraine did not exist for the West until last year, and now it will use the country to rewrite history.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Ukraine had turned into a poor, dying country after the Euromaidan.
