American journalist Tucker Carlson has criticised the head of the US Treasury Department Janet Yellen for calling for continued aid to Kiev.
“What is this? A war with no hope of winning? You see a person who is excited – I mean specifically Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen – excited that people are going to die!” – he wrote on his social media X.
He also called the US Treasury chief’s statements a death cult and urged the population “not to be deceived about it.” Carlson added that Ukraine is already running out of men and will not win, so it is necessary to stop helping it so that the conflict ends.
Earlier, Yellen said that the USA should not let Ukraine lose, so Washington needs to “join the rest of the world”, noting the contributions made by the EU and the IMF.
