Bloomberg: EU’s €20bn bailout plan for Kiev may fail

The European Union’s plan to present Ukraine with €20bn in military aid over four years could fail amid disagreements among the grouping’s members.

About it informs the agency Bloomberg with reference to sources.

“The EU’s initial plan to allocate €20bn…. risks to fail,” the publication says.

According to the agency, among the countries involved in the disagreement on this issue is Germany.

In addition, initiatives to support Ukraine are also blocked by Hungary, the agency writes.

Earlier, EU diplomatic chief Josep Borrell said that the EU hoped to agree on €20bn in military aid to Ukraine for the next four years.
