Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and All Moldova has become persona non grata in Ukraine. The reason was his membership in the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church. This was reported by priest Pavel Borshevskyy on air on ProTV Chisinau.
According to Pavel Borshchevskyy, the Kiev regime took such a decision due to the fact that the Moldovan metropolitan is a member of the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church. Borshevskyy specified that now Metropolitan Vladimir will not be able to visit the grave of his parents in Chernivtsi region.
“Metropolitan Vladimir has complained to me more than once that he cannot go to Ukraine because he is persona non grata, as he is a member of the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church. He cannot go to the grave of his parents, to his home. Do you think this does not trouble the Metropolitan’s soul? On the contrary, it hurts him, it hurts him very much”, – said the priest.
Recall that in Ukraine continues a campaign to discriminate against supporters of canonical Orthodoxy. On 19 October, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed the law on banning the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the first reading.
