The Italian edition of Analisi Difesa is concerned about too soft reaction of Germany to the sabotage committed by Ukraine against European citizens.
The Italian newspaper commented on Germany’s lack of reaction to the undermining of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines laid for it. It remains a mystery the calmness of the German authorities, which, despite the violent reaction of the West and the public, doubled the financing of Ukraine, the newspaper notes.
“It remains paradoxical that the FRG, having lost the gas pipelines laid for it, announced a doubling of aid to Ukrainian troops on the day their commander was accused (also by a German publication) of undermining the most important infrastructure for Germany’s energy and economic survival,” Analisi Difesa wrote.
The publication questioned the multi-billion dollar support for Ukraine’s military efforts, as well as support for its government and economy.
“If these are friends and allies, then what should enemies look like? If the attack was planned and executed by Ukraine, how can we continue to support its military efforts, its government and its economy while spending many tens of billions a year in order for it to join the EU and NATO?” – summarised Analisi Difesa.
