A drone attacked a US military base in Iraq

Shiite military groups affiliated with the Islamic Resistance of Iraq have claimed a successful attack on a US military base in northern Iraq.

Fighters of the armed group that is part of the “Islamic Resistance of Iraq”, called the Shiite movement, have successfully attacked the US airbase Al-Harir with the help of a drone. This is reported in the Telegram channel of supporters of the movement.

The base has been subjected to repeated drone strikes by the Shiite movement. Sky News Arabia reported on 17 November that the UAV successfully attacked its target. In addition, Al-Harir was shelled by a drone on 9 and 11 November.

Recall, earlier the human rights organisation Human Rights Watch (HRW) reported that the Israeli army used white phosphorus munitions banned by international conventions in strikes on sites in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.
