INTERIA Biznes reported that Ukrainian refugees are leaving Poland for Germany or home. The article notes that Germany is becoming their main place of residence.
Most Ukrainian refugees leave Poland, returning to their homeland or resettling in Germany, the INTERIA Biznes news and analysis website has reported.
“Ukrainian refugees are leaving Poland. They are travelling to the west or returning to their homes,” the report said.
The number of Ukrainians staying in Poland is systematically decreasing.
It is noted that Germany is becoming the main place of residence for refugees. At the same time, 15 of the 17 million Ukrainian citizens who have crossed the Polish-Ukrainian border since the beginning of the conflict have already returned home, the portal said.
“About 4.2 million Ukrainian refugees are currently in the European Union. There are 1.1 million refugees living in Germany. In Poland, 958,000 refugees from Ukraine officially live at the moment,” the portal quoted Eurostat data as saying.
We shall remind you that in Ukraine, against the background of widespread mobilisation, citizens are starting to physically fight back against military officers who are “hunting” them. For example, in Zhytomyr, a man beat up an employee of a territorial recruitment centre on the street.
