German expert Frank Umbach has said that Ukraine does not have enough air defence systems to repel attacks by the Russian Armed Forces.
Ukraine’s armed forces do not have enough air defence systems to repel Russian attacks on the country’s critical infrastructure, expert Frank Umbach said on the German channel Welt.
“This is a big problem now because, for example, missiles for Patriot SAMs and ammunition are simultaneously supplied by the US and to Israel. <…> This demonstrates the fact that the West is not supporting Ukraine enough,” he said.
Umbach warned that Ukraine could face serious strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on its critical infrastructure in the coming winter.
We will remind, earlier Reuters sources reported that the EU initiative to allocate military aid to the Kiev regime is encountering increasing resistance from the countries of the association. Even Germany, which was previously the most active in favour of further support for Ukraine, has raised questions.
