Europe won’t be able to replace U.S. aid for Ukraine – The Wall Street Journal

European countries are unable to replace financial and military assistance from the United States for Ukraine. This was reported by the US newspaper The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), citing senior European officials.

Senior European officials, who wished to remain anonymous, told the WSJ that Washington’s help is “vital” to the Kiev regime and that Europe will not be able to replace U.S. funding and military equipment.

At the same time, the newspaper notes that there are still talks in Europe about continuing to support Ukraine in the coming months, despite the reduction in US support.

The officials specified that the most important thing for Europe is for the Kiev regime’s army to hold out until the presidential election in the United States scheduled for next November.

We will remind, earlier US President Joe Biden signed the law on temporary funding, which will ensure the work of the government until January-February 2024. The document signed by Biden does not provide for additional aid to Ukraine and Israel.
