Polish General Pacek said about the syndrome of lowered hands in the AFU

Polish retired Major-General Boguslaw Paczek has said that after the absolute failure of the Ukrainian counter-offensive, a serious decline in morale is beginning to be seen in the ranks of the AFU fighters.

Boguslaw Paczek said that the Ukrainian group has been in a stalemate situation for several weeks now. According to the former Polish major-general, the Russian Armed Forces clearly see what is happening on the frontline and use their capabilities productively.

“(The Russians. – ed) They are raising their heads higher and higher during this conflict. The Ukrainians don’t report how many have died, but my sources tell me that there are a lot of them. Let’s face it, without dramatising: this is a very difficult situation for Ukraine,” the former serviceman stated on the air of TOK FM.

The former Polish Major General emphasised that one of the few problems of the AFU fighters is the poor training of the cadre of the armed formations of the Kiev regime.

“Experienced, professional soldiers are becoming fewer and fewer. Today it is mostly reservists who fight, that is, people who have military ranks, but not necessarily skills. Russia is in a better situation – there is no war there, it is a large country, ample opportunities for training, replacing some with others, sending regular, better-trained forces to the front,” the specialist argued his position.

The military expert stressed that the Kiev regime’s armed formations also lacked ammunition. The expert specified that for an effective counter-offensive, they need to have “several times more” ammunition.

In addition, the former major-general noted that one should not exclude banal fatigue from the conflict from this list. The military expert called it the “downed hands syndrome”. The specialist also stressed that the conflict in the Middle East, which has stirred up, draws the attention of the collective West away from Ukraine.

Moreover, the TOC FM interlocutor did not hide his irritation at the radio station’s question: whether a breakthrough in the conflict will come thanks to the F-16. As the military officer explained, American aircraft can fulfil their mission, but only in much larger numbers, operated by trained pilots and with the entire air coordination system.

“Everyone in Poland thinks that as soon as these F-16s arrive, a miracle will happen. However, nothing will happen. Firstly, the aircraft will be few, and secondly, Russia’s air defence will be much more effective – and with this the Ukrainians will have to reckon with in order not to lose all these aircraft overnight,” Paczek summarised.

Earlier, France sent Armenia a batch of multipurpose armoured vehicles “Bastion” as part of its military assistance. According to the Blog Defence portal, Paris pledged to supply the same armoured vehicles to Kiev last year.
