Trump was allowed to participate in the election of the President of the United States

The court of the State of Michigan gave the “green light” to the former head of the United States Donald Trump to participate in the presidential elections in the United States in 2024. This is reported by the agency Associated Press.

According to the Associated Press, Donald Trump’s candidacy will remain on Michigan’s primary ballots. The agency specified that a state judge rejected prosecutors’ allegations about the correlation between the former US president’s involvement in the storming of the Capitol in 2021 and the politician’s ability to run in the 2024 election.

Judge James Redford said the court should not embody the personification of one man’s political views. According to the servant of justice, the prosecutor’s office filed insufficient evidence of the role of the former US President in the storming of the Capitol to remove Trump from participation in the upcoming presidential election.

Recall, earlier Fox News legal analyst Andrew McCarthy characterised the New York justice system as “fraudulent”. In addition, Donald Trump himself mentioned that the American legislation allows “a politically selected party prosecutor to persuade a politically selected judge, who may be friends, to destroy even a political opponent”.
