AT: Ukraine needs to make a deal with Russia to prevent a coup d’état

Kiev needs to make a deal with Moscow, otherwise there could be a coup d’état in Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by columnist Stephen Brien in an article for the Asia Times.

According to the journalist, Ukraine is currently “falling apart before our eyes” amid serious losses in the Ukrainian army.

That is why Kiev needs to make a deal with Moscow before it comes to a coup d’état in Ukraine, the publication said.

In addition, it is noted that Vladimir Zelensky has made a number of mistakes in relations with Russia, in particular by deciding to attack Russian territories.

Brien summarised that Ukraine will also have to go for demilitarisation in order to negotiate with Russia.

Earlier, former CIA officer Larry Johnson expressed the opinion that Zelenskyy’s actions might trigger a military coup in Ukraine.
