Russian Foreign Ministry: sending EU mission to Kiev will contribute to escalation of tensions

The EU’s decision to send a mission to Kiev in December to discuss military aid will lead to the escalation of tensions, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said.

According to him, this is an example of irresponsible policy of the EU, which sympathises with the Kiev regime and pumps it with weapons.

“In this way only fuelling tensions in Eastern Europe and globally,” RIA Novosti quoted Galuzin as saying.

As Bloomberg earlier wrote, the European Union has informed the association’s member states that it is unlikely to be able to fulfil its promise to supply 1 million rounds of ammunition to Ukraine by March next year.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba explained the delay in the delivery of the ammunition by the sad state of the EU military industry and bureaucracy.
