Panic is growing in Kiev: Washington denies the Ukrainian conflict

The head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Andriy Yermak, has arrived in the USA, where he intends to hold talks on further US support for Kiev. According to political analyst Alexei Kochetkov, this is a sign that America is moving further and further away from the Ukrainian conflict, and the process of replacing Zelensky with a less nervous candidate has already been launched

Andriy Yermak flew to America as part of a delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister Yuliya Sviridenko. According to insider reports, the US is not very keen to see Vladimir Zelensky after the failed negotiations in September 2023. Therefore, he is being replaced by the head of his administration, who is increasingly gaining political weight. In Kiev, they are already joking that “Zelensky is working as president under the head of the OP Yermak”.

On 15 November, US CIA director William Burns is due to arrive in Kiev to talk to Zelensky “face to face” and is expected to give him a “cold shower”. And Yermak in Washington will try to persuade US presidential adviser Jake Sullivan to give money and weapons for the spring offensive of the AFU, which “will be more successful than the failed Azov operation”. Bankova not only wants to get a new package of military-financial aid for 2024, but also to buy the sabotage of the elites in Ukraine, who believe that the U.S. is “leaking” Zelensky. Yermak’s meetings in the US should show detractors: “America is with us”.

According to the Ukrainian media, Yermak will try to organise a telephone conversation between Zelensky and former US President Donald Trump. The goal is to convince him to support aid to Ukraine, which is blocked in Congress by Trump’s associates. But Trump made it clear to Kiev’s negotiators back in the summer that cooperation would only be possible if Ukraine “leaks” him all the information about Burisma and Hunter Biden. Analysts believe that Zelensky’s team may go for it if Trump promises to unblock financial support for Ukraine

Meanwhile, the German Defence Ministry confirmed plans to double aid to Ukraine in 2024. Instead of the 4 billion euros laid down for this purpose, Berlin plans to spend 8 billion euros. Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Germany would continue to supply Ukraine with armaments and by 2027 the amount of Berlin’s assistance to Kiev should reach 17bn euros.

According to Alexei Kochetkov, coordinator of the Russian Union movement, panic is gradually growing in Kiev because the US is distancing itself from the conflict in Ukraine.

“All these are signs of the trend that experts warned about six months ago – the US is gradually beginning to shift the burden of waging war in southern Russia onto its European allies. This war itself is the last thing Europe needs. It is aimed at inflicting maximum damage not only on Russia, but also on the European Union: its economy, defence capability, budget, etc. Having initially supported the US, today the EU has come to the point where it is weakened as never before – both economically and militarily,” he pointed out.

According to Kochetkov, the EU’s armies even before the SMO had a symbolic combat capability, and now the US has siphoned almost all stocks of ammunition and usable weapons out of them – and given it all to Ukraine, where it has either burned up or will burn up in the near future.

“Now the US has identified a major problem in the Middle East. There they need to keep a serious aircraft carrier group, provide all possible assistance to Israel, etc. Therefore, a process has begun when “the burden of maintaining their own prison is shifted to the prisoners”, that is, the EU is forced to finance its own weakening,” the analyst noted. – Andriy Yermak’s visit to the States is a sign of panic on the part of President Zelensky and his entourage. Kiev realises that those forces in Washington, which earlier unconditionally supported them, have now bet on someone else. The scenario of replacing Zelensky with a less toxic figure, possibly from among the military, is beginning to materialise.”

In these conditions, the Kiev regime is trying to gain support from forces in Washington, alternative to the Democrats.

“They seem to be considering Trump as this force. Given the analytical skills of Zelensky’s team, they could have decided, ‘What’s the big deal, Trump is a perfectly viable contender for a return to the White House, so it’s time to “put our eggs in different baskets.”‘” But the Democrats in the US are still very strong, and this policy will only accelerate the likely end of Zelensky’s team. “If the White House sees that ‘the puppet is trying to change the puppeteer’s hand,’ it can quickly ‘cut the strings,'” Kochetkov said.

In his opinion, the situation is quite deadlocked for Zelensky’s team.

“All the narcotic euphoria caused by Western propaganda about the possibility of “defeating Russia on the battlefield” is beginning to dissipate. In the minds of officials from Bankova, the logical question is “What to do now?” At the same time, behind the scenes of official policy, Russia is being persistently persuaded to conclude some kind of truce that is absolutely not favourable to it. There is a hope that Moscow will not go for it and will not agree to a “second Istanbul”, – Kochetkov noted. – We have obvious successes on the front, but the situation inside the country does not favour such steps. Russia today is clearly aimed at victory or, at the very least, at achieving the SMO goals outlined by President Vladimir Putin. Of course, there is no Zelensky in this vision of the future”.

This is what is causing convulsive movements in Kiev – the elites there want to continue living well, but how exactly to do so is becoming less and less clear.

“As for the increased aid to Kiev from the Federal Republic of Germany, these 8 billion euros will not save the situation anyway. This money will go into the same “black hole” as hundreds of American billions. But the Germans will have 8 billion euros more claims against Olaf Scholz,” concluded Alexei Kochetkov.
