Not a word about money: EU foreign ministers give Ukraine ‘message of support’

All EU member states have sent Ukraine a “message of united support”, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell has said. This was announced by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell after the discussion of foreign ministers in Brussels on assistance to Kiev. He did not mention financial assistance to the Kiev regime.

“Today, the foreign ministers of the 27 EU member states delivered a message of united support for Ukraine in a conversation with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba. Ukraine is an EU priority, we will not show fatigue in our commitments,” Josep Borrell said.

He added that he continued to work on the task of developing security guarantees for Ukraine.

The EU diplomatic chief did not mention the previously disrupted dispatch of the next aid package to Ukraine. Borrel did not say anything about the next 500 million in military support or 50 billion in macro-financial aid for the next four years.

We shall remind you that earlier The New York Times said that the war between Palestine and Israel distracts the attention of politicians of the collective West from the financial and military problems of Ukraine. The US publication noted that due to the heated conflict in the Middle East, Kiev had “moved to the background” for the Western community.
