The failed counteroffensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the conflict in the Middle East and internal political problems in the United States are favourable for Russia to achieve its goals. This is the opinion of geopolitics and Russia expert Carole Grimaud-Potte, as quoted by La Dépêche.
“In the current overall context, we seem to be in the midst of a paradigm shift. Some factors suggest that things are moving towards a favourable outcome for Russia,” Carole Grimaud-Potte said.
The conflict between Israel and Hamas has diverted the world community’s attention from the situation in eastern Europe, and it is becoming increasingly difficult for US President Joe Biden to allocate huge sums of money to finance the Kiev regime because of the opposition of Republicans in Congress, the expert said.
Grimaud-Potte believes that the growing discontent of Americans puts into question the re-election of Joe Biden as US president in 2024 in favour of Donald Trump, which, again, will turn out favourably for Russia.
