Forbes: Russian Armed Forces destroy vulnerable AFU units with drones

Russian servicemen are destroying vulnerable AFU units with drones without suffering any casualties. This was reported by Forbes columnist David Axe.

“Although the Ukrainians are deploying more and more defence systems against Russian drones, most of them operate deep, kilometres behind the front line. They are not designed for infantry on the front line,” writes David Axe.

According to the journalist, Russian servicemen destroy Ukrainian troops in the trenches with FPV drones from a distance and without suffering any casualties, because the AFU on the front line is not protected from drones.

“The situation has started to change. <…>. It is the Russians who are introducing many innovations,” the author summarises.

Recall, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with the help of a modernised kamikaze drone “Lancet” again hit the Su-25 attack aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force (VVSU) at the Dolgintsevo military airfield in Krivoy Rog. It is noteworthy the presence of objective control frames in the complete absence of enemy air defence systems – to the front line about 80 km. Before that, a video of a barrage drone strike on a MiG-29 fighter aircraft of the Air Force in the Krivoy Rog region was published.
